Hair

I love big hair. It is a known fact to everyone who knows me well that the bigger the better for me. I should have been born in the 60's or the 80's where the hair was always huge.
Any of these would be a dream if I could every get my hair to look this way.

In my quest to get the perfect volumized hair I am always trying new products (and spending like 30 minutes on the hair care isles) so here are some of my new faves.

Pssst Dry Shampoo... it's totally weird looking, but it is by far the best dry shampoo out there. I have used hair powder forever, but that sometimes gets a little cakey feeling. So I started to search for dry shampoo and I read about this one in a magazine some where.

Dry shampoo seems to be the new cool thing and there are now tons of brands out there. I have tried a good amount of them, but this one is the best, I swear! It's cheap ($6) but it leaves your hair fresh, volumized and feeling like you just showered. It is seriously my new go to. I even use it when I just finished drying my hair (read the beauty department to see why).

Not to bash another brand, but Treseme is pushing their dry shampoo like crazy on TV ads. Don't buy it. It is not that great, it works like to 75% and hen just leaves your hair feeling oily and sticky.

LOreal Elnett Hairspray

I wear hairspray everyday so this is a big one for me. I read about this hairspray again in lots of magazines recently because it just became available in the US. It's amazing. A little pricey for hairspray, but if you use it everyday like me. It's great. It holds anything. It doesn't get crunchy and it brushes right out if you need it to. LOVE.

Clip-in hair extensions.

LOVEEEEEEEE. I finally got some of these a few months ago after seeing my friend Liz's hair (fine, thin hair like mine) grow in to gorgeous full curly hair. So did some research and went out to get some. The brand I got is Euronext Remy Clip-ins. They are real human hair so you can curl, straighten, wash, etc. They are so easy to put in and so far they have been amazing. Adding volume, they curl and stay curled and they just are great! I also wore them in a wedding recently and my updo was so much better!
