It's finally summer in Boulder.
Flowers quite similar to these are everywhere.
Even growing next to our back door where we keep the trash cans are these beauties...
This also means....
Lots of bike rides to come. And hopefully not just to and from happy hour which is what I had been using my bike for so far.
This past weekend I did a local ride with my friend Lauren in Denver.
It was gorgeous. 25 miles along the river on a beautiful sunny day.

Golden Rule
The other day while driving home from a very long day at work. I passed 2 little girls on the side of the road with big signs saying "LEMONADE".
I instantly smiled. I love lemonade stands. LOVE. And I love little kids who sell lemonade like it is the greatest thing anyone could ever buy.
New rule in life: Always stop at a lemonade stand.
How badly do you want some lemonade now? I am dying for some right about now... ahhh summertime!

Home Sweet Home
I am going home!!!! I have not seen my parents or been home in SIX months. I am beyond excited.
AND I get to see all of my friends as well because I am going home to celebrate the marriage of two of the nicest people in the whole world....
Liz & Ian
Liz and I were born 11 days apart and were glued at the hip as kids and she is by far one of the greatest friends I have ever had.
Liz & I
Bonus... neither likes cake so they are having a Trolley Stop cart and a Trolley stop hot dog cake in addition to the regular cake. How great is that!
Leaving tomorrow for 2 days of this....
Cuddling with the best pups in the whole world...
And then lots and lots of wedding things!! 6 wedding events in 4 days! I will be tired, but happy to be home!!
See you next week!

Jealous.
Obsessed with her... and her hair.... and her clothes.
Obsessed with him....forever.
If this is true... I am loving it!!!
I love her even more since she was quoted saying this:
“When I have bad days, I just eat lots of chocolate ice cream and dance to The Lion King soundtrack,” she revealed. “It’s really odd, but it’s true.”
I definitely think we would be friends....

American Girls for Life
This is hilarious... you all know you had one. See what it says about you today.
I had Molly... Here is what that supposedly means about me:
Molly McIntire:
If you had Molly, you probably wanted Samantha instead, but contented yourself with Molly because you too wore glasses, liked books, were bad at math, and would concoct various schemes to get attention. (Oh, Molly.) If you were a Molly, and had a Molly (as opposed to being a Molly and aspirationally owning a Felicity), you were imbued, then and now, with an immutable sense of self. At least Molly could tap dance, which is frankly more talent than any of the other girls exhibited.
As an adult, you’ve developed a carefully honed aptitude for sarcasm. You've gotten contacts, and a slightly edgy haircut. You still sort of want attention, but you deny it. You’ve thought back on your American Girl Doll, and tried not to be too resentful towards the person who gave her to you, who so obviously associated you with the descriptor “mousy.”
I'm thinking it's a pretty good fit actually! I loved Molly and I still do. Her books were hilarious.
What doll did you have? Visit this site, The Hairpin, to see what it says about you.
