Happy Pizza Friday!

This week has been so long and today's bagged lunch of an apple, some cheese and a granola bar just wasn't cutting it.

I would like you to meet my favorite pizza in the whole world.
Margherita Pizza from Proto's Pizza in Boulder.... it's literally right below my office.
Heaven in a little box. The pic looks huge, but this was a delicious little mini that I couldn't even wait to take a bite out of.. clearly.

Weekend plans include:
Lots of errands, a little shopping and some snowshoeing in Breckenridge.
Happy Friday!

Snowshoeing!

Last Sunday Thomas and I headed up to Nederland to try out our new snowshoes. Thomas got us both some awesome snowshoes and poles last year, but we never had a chance to try them out so we picked a trail, which I ended up not being able to find, but we found another one around a lake and headed out.

It was gorgeous! Not too freezing, hiking through snow covered trees around a frozen lake. It was great! We even stumbled upon an awesome old cabin in the middle of the woods.

Obsessed.... the Movie

This is a very, very belated movie review, but I just have to share a few thoughts on this. Christine and I watched Obsessed last night since normal TV shows are gone now :( and I have to say it was quite horrible. I love Beyonce, but this was bad.

The real thing that was interesting was how crazy stalkers are and how insane they can be because of their delusions. Ali Larter = very good crazy person in this movie.
So after I was already all worked up from crazy stalker and slightly freaked out. I then decided to watch Desperate Housewives from Sunday. It was about a riot. Well a night of watching crazy stalker + riot with crazy "normal" towns people seriously freaked me out. Like after watching all of this my heart was racing and my face was red and I was physically hot I was so worked up!

After this un fun night I am now adding riots and female stalker to my top 5 things I am scared of list. I mean male stalkers are scary, by female stalkers are CRAZY in the head.

Side note.... I googled "Obsessed" to find a picture of the movie and this is what came up first:

I CANNOT WAIT to see this!

'Tis the Season

I am so pumped about Christmas I can't even describe it.
While I was at home I took pics of our old Christmas card photos. These are my favorite ones.

This weekend in Boulder there was the Parade of Lights downtown and I have to say in true Boulder form it was one of the strangest parades ever. It was basically like if you wanted to be in the parade you could no matter what. And it was really cold so everyone was completely bundled up and then had stuff for their theme on top of them.

Here are a few of my favs from the parade.

A man from the swing dance club.... as a dancing puppet.
The local bus with lights.... no one was on it. Just the bus driver....
The "Order of Eptah" I have no idea who these people are, but I'm pretty sure they dress us as people from the Renaissance and fight each other.
Every boy scout or girl scout group walked or had a float. These were my fav. Let it glow. They all had glow sticks and their floats were covered in glow sticks. So Boulder.

Random man dressed as a dancing Christmas tree..
The Waste Management had a float complete with a decorated trash collector truck and a port-a-potty with Santa coming out of it!
